Welsh pianist and composer Huw Warren has achieved an international reputation for innovative and eclectic music making over a thirty year career. Equally at home crossing the often exclusive
worlds of Jazz, World and Contemporary music, he has a distinctive and personal voice.

A longtime collaborator with Huw, Stuart Silver is a Bafta nominated, Perrier award winning writer/performer/producer/director working solo and collaboratively across film, theatre and gallery venues, television, radio, public spaces and in creative educational and mentoring contexts. He created the acclaimed monologue with bluegrass ukulele ‘You Look Like Ants’, ‘what we should have said…’, an original, international spoken word and music event and is the co-founder of (nobleandsilver) – the multimedia performance group.

This workshop is aimed at writers, spoken word artists and poets (and everything/everyone in between) that would like to experiment with their existing work alongside or interacting with improvised/devised music; they are also aimed at musicians wishing to develop their improvisation in response to/interacting with words and text
