A rare London appearance, by Irelands former solo performer of the year. A Manhattan resident, Turner rarely performs in London, his last show at the Lamb was a typical Pierce classic, a packed house yelled out song requests all night long, and he obliged most of them. Praise for Pierce Turner\'s song writing, performances, and achievements are truly too numerous to mention. Christy Moore covered his songs and wrote one called \"I love the way Pierce Turner sings\" He had a track in the HBO show \"The Wire\" He performed in Carnegie Hall with Iggy Pop and Philip Glass (Philip produced his debut album for Beggars Banquet) John Peel said his single \"Wicklow Hills\" was one of his top ten singles of all time. Just google his name for lots more..
