Launderette Sessions are delighted to announce a stand-up comedy night at the Old Cinema Launderette on Thursday 13th July.

We\'re bringing FOUR fantastic acts for an evening full of laughter - an intimate comedy club in our retro style venue with a fully stocked bar.

Tickets are only £8 (plus booking fee) per person. You can buy direct from the Launderette for no booking fee.

All our acts come with enviable pedigree and are highly sort after on the UK comedy circuit. They all have taken hugely successful shows to the Edinburgh Fringe earning rave reviews - we\'re in very good hands!

Lee Kyle - Lee will be our opener and will be bringing his engaging, hilarious act to our evening. Lee is a \'very funny\' (Manchester Evening News) former professional wrestler with accomplished Fringe shows under his belt along with a autobiographical book and DVD about his former life as a wrestler. \'A brilliant performance...pure genius!\' - NARC

John Scott will be our headline act. An award winning comic, he won Take the Mic; the BIGGEST cash prize in comedy. John is highly sought after act on the UK circuit - impressing audiences with a selection of cutting observations and superb gags. He’s taken many a sellout show to the Edinburgh Fringe. Old Cinema Launderette is a mix of standing and seating. If you wish to be seated it is best to arrive early. Doors open at 7pm.

Old Cinema Launderette is a licensed venue serving craft beers on draught and a small but perfectly formed gin menu. We also serves OCC Coffee and Yorkshire Tea. We have a selection of fruit Teas and posh soft drinks.
