The line up...
THE GLAMBUSTERS
The Glambusters started life in 2015 after singer Stephen Foster seeked professional backing vocals for his David Bowie tribute show which he has been touring since 2012. The show started out solely as a tribute to David Bowie but very quickly the group branched out and started performing a 70s glam rock revue featuring hits by artists such as Queen, T.Rex, Slade, Sweet, Mud, Showaddywaddy, Status Quo and Alvin Stardust. The group now have a very strong following and perform shows across the UK as well as internationally.
THE ARROWS
The Arrows were formed in the early 1970s and found fame in 1974 when their single \'A Touch To Much\' smashed into the top 10 and became a huge hit. Further hits followed through out the mid 70s most notable \'My Last Night With You\' and of course, that song everybody knows \'I Love Rock And Roll.\' The Arrows also had their very own tv show on Granada Television which ran from 1976-77. Although the band split soon after they left such an impact that I Love Rock And Roll has become one of the most covered songs of all time. Alan Merrill reformed the band in later years and continues to tour today in the UK, America and internationally.
JOHN ROSSALL founder of THE GLITTER BAND
John Rossall has been in the music industry since the mid 1960s when he founded the Boston Internation Showband. During his climb to fame he performed on numerous 60s hits including Tom Jones single \'It\'s Not Unusual\' and The Walker Brothers \'The Sun Aint Gonna Shine Anymore.\' It was in 1972 however that he enjoyed his big break when he was approached by Mike Leander who asked Rossall to form a band to back Gary Glitter on Top Of The Pops. John then went on to perform and work on many of Gary Glitters biggest hits including Leader Of The Gang, Rock And Roll, Hello Hello I\'m Back Again, I Love You Love Me Love, Always Yours and Oh Yes You\'re Beautiful... to name just a few. In 1974, the band wanted to go it alone and although still working with Gary, they recorded their own album without him and has a long string of hits under the name \'The Glitter Band.\' John Rossall co-wrote many of the bands hit singles. They enjoyed top 10 success with songs like Angel Face, Just For You, Lets Get Together Again and Goodbye My Love. John left the band in the mid 70s to embark on a solo career and has toured constantly since the mid 90s bringing back the famous Glitter sound and thrilling audiences across the UK and internationally playing all those huge hits we love and remember.
This show is a must see for any fan of the glam rock era!
