Daisy Chapman - Vocals Piano Violin Cello
Self titled \'Sinner\' Songwriter and BBC Introducing favourite Daisy Chapman is an incredibly well-travelled pianist and vocalist who draws influences from the anti-folk world. It’s hard to pinpoint Daisy’s unique style, but think Sandy Denny meets Regina Spektor and you\'re close. Every song harbours a dark story of love, lust and loss told through her exquisite voice with Sue Lord on violin bringing the performance to harmonious climax every time. Daisy has shared the stage with prog rockers Crippled Black Phoenix (members of Portishead and Hawkwind) as well as Jenn Bostic, but her sound is very much her own. Prepare to be moved.
In total she has played over 500 live concerts, including festivals such as Glastonbury, Wychwood, 2000 Trees and Breminale (Germany). She has supported other artists such as Howe Gelb and Jenn Bostic. Her distinctive voice has also been used for films and a variety of TV session work. What is clearly evident about Daisy is that she is a true professional and an experienced artist.
