Baby Slow Down presents an evening of quiet music, with:
Le Volume Courbe Vs Grimm Grimm + Sally Hossack + Baby Slow Down DJs playing warm electronica, gentle indie and oozey shoegaze.

6 - 10pm, £5 adv / £6 door.

Le Volume Courbe (French for "The volume curve") is French-born, London-based singer/songwriter, Charlotte Marionneau.

In 2005 she recorded her debut album I Killed My Best Friend with contributions from Kevin Shields, Hope Sandoval, and David Roback among others, and in 2007 released "Freight train/The House" 7", a collaboration with Primal Scream on Trouble Records.

Since then, Le Volume Courbe as a full touring band have supported My Bloody Valentine around the world, and released a second album, I Wish Dee Dee Ramone Was Here With Me. Most recently, Charlotte sings on Noel Gallagher's latest album, Holy Mountain, released just a couple of days before this gig.

For this very special, intimate show, LVC will be playing live with Grimm Grimm, the experimental folk/pop project of London-based singer-songwriter Koichi Yamanoha, former bass player and vocalist of cult psych-punkers, Screaming Tea Party. Grimm Grimm released his debut solo album, Hazy Eyes Maybe, on ATP in 2015.

Support comes from Sally Hossack. With a delicate and sensual tone and performance style, Sally Hossack captures a world of feeling and sensitivity in her music. Influenced by the styles of Ricki Lee Jones, Goldfrapp and Wye Oak. Her second solo album 'Lulo' was released on the 2nd of August 2017 through Bear All Records and is available from all digital distributors to listen or download.

Plus the Baby Slow Down DJs will be on standby to soothe your soul with their woozy mix of indiepop, shoegaze, folk, soul and electronica.
