Matthew Bourne - keyboards, Michael Bardon - bass and Sean Noonan - drums/compositions.
Rhythmic storyteller Sean Noonan composes and conducts with a pair of drum sticks original multi-stylistic music fusing his discoveries from harmolodic jazz rock and avant-garde chamber music. Noonan’s wide-spectrum music combines the stories of an Irish bard with the raw physicality of a street-smart boxer.
The Trio was formed after the 2016 album release \"Memorable Sticks”. Noonan adopts a magical scepter to dig the depths of the Wieliczka Salt Mine in Poland revealing \"Hidden Treasures\", as if Henry Cowell, Cecil Taylor, Frank Zappa and the Grateful Dead were out on a night of romance in quest of a good street fight. The treasures that he finds along the way are filtered through his distinctive vision to become the unpredictable and far-ranging sounds of Noonan’s wide-spectrum music.
“Sean Noonan\'s concept is as original as a fingerprint\" - New York Jazz Record
\"The powerhouse drummer draws equally on Bartok, early Can, jazz, Balkan and avant garde theatre music.\" New York Music Daily
