Come along to the TTMF18 Music Convention to be inspired by the professionals. Whether you are an established or new artist looking for inspiration, in the business looking for new customers and ideas or just fascinated by the music industry and love the stories and anecdotes from the makers, movers and shakers, this will be the day for you.

We are expanding the scope of the festival to include a music industry convention element aimed at supporting and educating musicians to help them understand how the music business works, make useful contacts and gain advice on advancing their musical careers. The Convention is sponsored by Christopher Ward (London) Limited.

The convention is hosted by Tom Robinson (singer and BBC Radio 6 Music broadcaster and leading advocate of new music) The programme covers Keynote speaker: Martyn Ware (Human League and Heaven 17), “Meet the maker” panellist sessions with artists, producers John Leckie and George Shilling, A&R, Record Labels, Managers and promoters and the amazing Luke Colcannon leading a session on songwriting (...if it works for Ed Sheeran!).

We will have panellists representing views and experience from major main stream, regional and independent viewpoints.

We are hosting workshop interactive sessions given by industry experts aimed at giving practical advice and instruction on producing, marketing, booking agents, song-writing and getting radio play.

The convention is aimed at Career musicians, amateur/semi-professional, unsigned musicians, music businesses and those with an interest in and passion for greater insight and knowledge of the music business.
