\'Nowhere Land\' Official Album Launch

The Chords UK feature Chris Pope on guitar and vocals along with Mic Stoner, Kenny Cooper & Sandy Michie. The band is the continuation of legendary Mod Revival group The Chords and they perform all of the hits along with new material from the debut album by The Chords UK \"Take on Life\" and their second album \"Nowhere Land\" which is being launched tonight.
The Chords were, along with The Jam & Secret Affair, one of the biggest bands of the late 1970\'s Mod Revival scene. Their debut single \"Now it\'s Gone\" was released in 1979 followed up by \"Maybe Tomorrow\" which got the band their first appearance on Top of the Pops. Their debut album \"So Far Away\" reached number 55 in the national charts in 1980. The Chords broke up the following year in 1981.
