‘Blakey's Boys’ celebrate the music of Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers, which was undoubtedly one of the most influential jazz combos with a career spanning 35 years. Hard blowing tenor sax man, MATT TELFER leads the band through arrangements of classics such ‘MOANIN’, ‘ARE YOU REAL’ and ‘LESTER LEFT TOWN’. With dynamic trumpeter ANDY DAVIES and an almighty rhythm section, featuring drummer PETE MILES, bassist MILES DANSO and pianist CHRIS JEROME expect hard swinging high energy performances.
