Return of the joyful 10-strong Japanese baritone saxophone posse who were a big hit of the 2006 and 2008 London Jazz Festivals. Translated as ‘Tokyo Bass Frequency’, this ensemble is one of Japan’s most extraordinary groups. Expect plenty of infectious bass/baritone resonance plus a wild theatrical performance that has benefited from playing with the likes of Taraf de Haidouks and the gypsy brass band Fanfare Ciocarlia.
