Spaceheads
http://spaceheads.co.uk
Spaceheads are a unique trumpet and drums duo, formed in Manchester 27 years ago. Andy Diagram layers live loops of brass, breathy samples, and effects controlled from a mobile phone attached to the top of his trumpet. Richard Harrison’s drums and percussion propels and colours the brass to create tripped-out funky, electro-jazz soundscapes. The listener is taken on a rollercoaster ride of twists and turns through multiple rhythmic and melodic journeys.
