ONE SUMMER'S DAY 2018

It's back !

We're thrilled to confirm that the One Summer's Day charity music festival will be back this summer, and will be taking place in the courtyard garden of The Tup in Guildford on Sunday 22nd July 2018. Local singer songwriter and promoter Gavin Thomas is the host and producer of One Summer's Day, and he has chosen eleven outstanding local acts to perform throughout the day:

Each act has equal billing on the day - there are no "headliners" at these events.

The music will take place from 12.30pm until 9.00pm, and there will be a full licensed bar and the amazing crew from the Bretts Burger Barbecue will be back by hugely popular demand !!

Gavin would also like to welcome the wonderful Robins Audio, the extraordinary Basingstoke-based audio, video & lighting specialists, who will be joining Kyan as co-sponsors of this year's event. We're also very excited that the angels at Santander UK will be returning to help us raise as much money as we can by match funding what we raise from raffle ticket sales.

CHARITIES:
We'll be fundraising for two wonderful causes this year. Half of everything raised will be donated to Mind - the amazing national charity that works to improve the lives of all people with experience of mental health problems.
GT Live Sessions always donate half of everything we raise through these events to the Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Over the last few years we have donated money to the 'Detecting Women's Cancer' appeal, The St Luke's Cancer Care Centre, The Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit, Onslow Ward (Oncology & Haematology), and the Teenage & Young Adult Cancer Unit. This year we will be donating half of everything we raise to the new High Dependency Unit that is being created within Hascombe Children's Ward at The Royal Surrey County Hospital.
