Event information

Marie Curie provides hands on nursing care and support through all terminal illnesses. Our nurses work day and night, in people’s homes across the country, providing hands-on care and vital emotional support, helping you stay surrounded by the people you care about most, in the place where you’re most comfortable.
THE Glasgow Phoenix Choir is delighted to be performing a concert in the St Andrew’s Episcopal Cathedral, Inverness to help raise much needed funds for this remarkable cause. Special thanks must go to Inverness Inner Wheel, who are sponsoring this event. This year, the Glasgow Phoenix Choir celebrates 118 years of choral excellence – 68 years as the Glasgow Phoenix Choir and 50 years as the Glasgow Orpheus Choir. The choir flourishes under the guidance of our conductor Marilyn J Smith MBE and Cameron Murdoch, accompanist and depute conductor. Our concerts involve a range of music from choral standards to new music and, in addition, feature many delightful solo performances by choir members.
