The Quietus described Bethia Beadman as a cross between Maria Callas and Ziggy Stardust.
The London based artist releases her new studio album ‘Into the Peace’ in September 2018.
Once a member of Courtney Love's band HOLE, she has since recruited a new band for her new album and current tour - and Bethia is delighted to be joined on keys and backing vocals by her long-time friend Mike Mills from REM.
Don't miss this chance to see a remarkably talented artist in such an intimate venue as this!
“Her music eclipses her backstory. One of the best unsung artists around.” – John Kennedy, Dazed and Confused
“Her story is the stuff that film scripts are made of. Warm, neo-soul…PJ Harvey meets Scott Walker” Fiona Sturges, UNCUT
“Insanely talented. A cross between Cat Power, Nick Drake and Scott Walker” – Amanda Palmer
SUGARCANE:

Sugarcane's Robin French came to meet with Antonia Thomas on a play, and has now collaborated with the actress in music.
Antonia Thomas, known for her roles in Misfits and Netflix's Lovesick, leads the track's vocals. Soft and syrupy sweet in delivery, her tones and pronunciation are comparable to Lily Allen, or better, Lily Allen in Hawaii.
Sugarcane dish out the melodic backing vocals and provide intensely paradisic instrumentals that'll transport you straight to the crystal-clear blue waters of the Caribbean.
Oozing with sultry samba, the track combines a vast multitude of cultural influences from Thomas and Sugarcane, and is delivered like a French chanson.
Speaking about the track, French explains, “It's about escaping, about the joy & melancholy of saying 'f*ck it', junking your old life & starting again. I wrote it with Mr. Hudson for our album Tale of Two Cities, When Antonia was round at mine, she sang my samba version & everything clicked.”
DOM MAJOR:

Manchester based ‘Folk/Rocker’ who writes self-confessed ‘sad bastard music’.
Dom Major transfers his unique outlook of the ever changing world into songs crafted with honesty and fragility. Armed with his acoustic and electric guitars, Dom’s songs vary in dynamic and delivery. Ranging from lullabies to discordant angsty mess.
After supporting up and coming stars Phoebe Bridgers, Sam Brookes and Chastity Brown in 2017, Dom is currently putting together a body of work set for a 2018 release.

Singer songwriter Scott Candlish blends folk fingerstyle with alternative rock in his unique craft influenced by the likes of Ryan Adams, Ben Howard and Lindsey Buckingham.
A Melbourne based songwriter all of his life, he currently lives and is playing regular shows in Edinburgh. While being heavily involved in the Edinburgh music scene, he has spent a lot time writing new material reflecting upon the move away from home.
His most recent releases in November last year were singles 'Halfway' and 'Stranger'.
Early 2017 saw the release of his second EP ‘Home Away from Home’ launched in Melbourne. The songs focus on stories of maturity within different situations which are challenging and uncomfortable, but ultimately lead to self growth.
Over summer in the UK, Candlish will continue playing a string of shows that include the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
