Glasgow's Lush Purr are coming to Oxford for the first time - their melancholy humour, dreamy lo-fi noise pop and meandering psychedelic fuzz are everything we like in a band so we can't wait!
Tracks from their debut album 'Cuckoo Waltz' received plays on 6 Music, Tom Ravenscroft Music Recommends, Steve Lamacq, Gideon Coe and on Freak Zone, Amazing Radio and BBC Scotland.
Tonight also sees The Cooling Pearls play their first show since the release of their second album The Red Laugh (8 years in the waiting and out 7th Sept) which is an emotional, lo-fi, desolate landscape in sound.
Opening the night is the debut show from Laughing Lamb - Pete Smith from Lucy Leave's new solo project. His warped and minimalist guitar songs evoke John Fahey!
