Terry Brock makes a rare return to his second home the UK for a small number of acoustic shows. Terry Brock's Musical career is like a who’s who. His first professional job in the music business was as a vocalist on the Kansas album Drastic Measures in 1983. Terry worked on albums for Johnny Van Zant (of Lynyrd Skynyrd) and Molly Hatchet, and became the lead vocalist/songwriter in the band Network, who recorded the song, "Back in America," the soundtrack to the movie "European Vacation".
Terry then toured extensively with The Steve Morse Band, and recorded two albums, Native Sons and Walk in The Fire, with his band Strangeways. With Strangeways he toured extensively around the whole of Europe supporting Europe, Bryan Adams and MeatLoaf and it was the “Native Sons” album that chiselled in stone the name of the band, hailed by Kerrang! magazine as “the greatest and most preciously perfect AOR album of all time”. Garnering the band a reputation as one of the best UK based AOR bands ever. He relocated to New York City and while living there lent backing vocals to Michael Bolton's albums Everybody's Crazy; Time, Love and Tenderness; and Soul Provider Terry continued his busy schedule and released his first solo CD, ‘Back to Eden’ (title track co-written with Survivor's Jim Peterik). Terry Brock’s second solo album ‘Diamond Blue’ in collaboration with renowned guitarist / producer / songwriter Mike Slamer. Which made an enormous impact in the melodic rock world. Terry Brock then debuted as lead singer in the Melodic Rock titans GIANT with the acclaimed release of the “Promise Land” album stepping into the huge shoes left by Dan Huff. Recently Terry appeared on ALL 41 which included Robert Berry (Three, Alliance) Gary Pihl (Boston, Sammy Hagar, Alliance) and Matt Starr (Ace Frehley, Mr Big) on drums. Terry Latest offering is ‘The Roth & Brock Project’. The Roth Brock Project is the exciting artistic union between guitarist John Roth (Winger, Starship, Giant) and singer Terry Brock. The pair first met in 2009 while working on Giant's "Promise Land" record.
Guests for this rare occurrence are NEWMAN. In 1997 Singer, songwriter Steve Newman formed the band Newman and since 1998 has been producing consistently high quality albums filled with hook laden songs and thought provoking lyrics. Newman released 13 studio albums and one best of compilation up to today. The previous release, "The Elegance Machine", was released in 2015 and their latest album Ariel released 2017. Newman will be on their own headline tour across the UK in 2018.
