Noel James from Wales is a surreal comic who has already built up something of a following. The Independent once said of him that he “stands out like a droll giant in a comedy land of trite dwarfs,” You may recognise him from the semi-final of Britain’s got talent where he wowed judges. Seeing comedy star David Walliams, along with Simon, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden, all rise to their feet at the end of his audition felt like a vindication of his years on the circuit.
