Janet Robin top US guitarist and songwriter returns to the U.K. this autumn to play this special intimate show in this great little Venue. Support from local artists Stevie Jones and Rebecca Ryan. Music audiences around the world have seen Janet Robinʼs incredible guitar work as a former touring member of Lindsey Buckinghamʼs Band (from Fleetwood Mac), Meredith Brooks, Michelle Shocked, Air Supply, and more.
In 2017, USA Guitar Player Magazine and Guitar World named her as one of the "Top 50 Acoustic Guitar Players.” And Guitar World Magazine has named her one of the “10 best female guitar players.” In 2015, Janet was hand picked to coach Academy Award Nominee, Jennifer Jason Leigh on guitar for a scene in Quentin Tarantinoʼs film “The Hateful Eight.”
Her latest solo cd, “Take me as I am,” was produced by John Carter Cash (Johnny & Juneʼs son) with Chuck Turner co producing and mixing and was recorded at the legendary Cash Cabin Studios in Nashville. This is her second record working with Cash and Turner and it focuses heavily on her songwriting and guitar skills. In addition to her solo project, Janet formed The String Revolution, comprised of 4 acclaimed guitarists that use their guitars in unique ways to create a “full band sound” and has released 2 EP’s. She is also a proud voting member of the Recording Academy for the Grammy’s.
Janet Robin continues to tour nationally and internationally and averages 150 dates a year.
