The 3hattrio play American Desert Music inspired by the natural world of their homeland near Zion National Park in Utah. Hal Cannon sings lead vocals and plays banjo and guitar. Eli Wrankle, just 20 years old, combines playing fiddle with studying music at Southern Utah University. Reg Istock plays the stand-up bass, foot percussion and sings, having spent 30 years exploring Caribbean music. All three 3hat albums were recorded in his painting studio.
Their latest CD, 'Lord of the Desert' has been described as 'Fascinatingly original' (Magnet Magazine) and 'A highly original and inspired album' (Cowboys and Indians Magazine).
Doors open from 7.30 for an 8pm start.
