The Hermes Experiment turns five in the 2018-19 season and the ensemble can’t wait to perform highlights from their five years’ worth of commissions (over 50 and counting!). The ensemble will be playing pieces by Giles Swayne, Josephine Stephenson, William Cole, Misha Mullov-Abbado, Emily Hall and Stevie Wishart, alongside their collaborative piece with poet Ali Lewis and two brand new commissions from Errollyn Wallen and Oliver Leith. There is no party without drinks, which will be served in the intervals and accompanied by DJ sets from BBC Radio 3 Late Junction presenter Nick Luscombe. So put on your hats, find your party poppers and come and join The Hermes Experiment in a celebration of new music, composers, and the ensemble itself. Here's to the next five!
