David Bent’s talk will be a good opportunity to hear from the artist alongside this new exhibition of his work.

Awarded Companionship of the Royal Aeronautical Society, David is well known and widely respected for his pioneering and original approach to aviation art.
The Swindon Museum & Art Gallery Exhibition ‘Out of the Box’ offers a new perspective, featuring paintings and photo collages representing his broader work.
During his talk, he will outline the wide ranging influences that have inspired his life’s work, including his art education and adventures around the world.
The exhibition includes paintings addressing some of the major social issues of our time.

As a long standing Friend of the Swindon Museum & Art Gallery, David is pleased to see works created in his Old town studio over the past 20 years being shared in his adopted town in 2019.

UK Exhibitions over recent years include at the National Memorial Arboretum, Russell Cotes Museum & Art Gallery, St George’s & Royal Air Force Museum.
Exhibition dates: 26th March – 1st June 2019
