Born of a transatlantic relationship, James grew up in South East London listening to the folk and soul sound of 70s. His first guitar became the tool for surviving a tumultuous upbringing - he took off hitchhiking and busking through Europe from Amsterdam to Istanbul and back to the UK, writing songs along the way. From there James headed to Nashville, Tennessee, to make the album which had travelled back with him to his maternal homeland...

Distinctive, soulful, and brimming with ethereal vitality, Riley treads a line between exquisite pop songcraft and cinematic storytelling with a candid folk voice, taking influence from John Martyn to Bill Withers and Joni Mitchell.

James returned recently from a 2-year stint in Nashville, where he recorded his forthcoming debut album “TRANSATLANTICA” with Grammy-winning producer Matthew Odmark (release date Summer 2019).

Folk songstress and multi-instrumentalist Daisy Chute has been taught and mentored by rock royalty Sir Ray Davies, featured as a vocalist on Radiohead's latest album A Moon Shaped Pool, and got the legendary thumbs up from Sir Paul McCartney after a recent performance at the Royal Albert Hall. Formerly of Decca’s platinum-selling classical group All Angels, she is excited to be working on her début album of original songs with producer and songwriter Tim Baxter (Andy Burrows, Editors, Nick Mulvey, Jasmine Thompson).

One of Paul Sexton's 'top music tips' for 2018, Daisy's music has been compared to Simon and Garfunkel and Joni Mitchell (BBC Radio Kent) and her voice has been described as “Exquisitely delicious. Delicate, like a gossamer-winged creature made out of spun gold." Tony Moore (Soho Radio, The Bedford)
