MARNIE STERN is a self-taught American musician, songwriter and guitarist with much acclaim for her technical skill and finger-tapping style of guitar play.
Her debut release on Kill Rock Stars, 'In Advance of the Broken Arm', was well received by critics, and she toured the US and UK with Hella's Zach Hill, who is behind her rhythm section.
Marnie's 2nd album 'This Is It and I Am It and You Are It and So Is That and He Is It and She Is It and It Is It and That Is That' was released last October and made Pitchfork's Best 50 Albums of 2008.
