The Chris Cleverley Trio appear at Green Note for the London launch of Chris’ Second solo Studio album ‘We Sat Back and Watched it Unfold”. A revered fingerstyle guitarist and contemporary songwriter, Chris will be showcasing new material covering a diverse and challenging range of topics, including deteriorating anxious minds, damaging gender constructs and literary heroines. Arranged specially for three voices, Chris will be joined by renowned vocalists Kim Lowings and Kathy Pilkinton, as they present stripped back arrangements of the album’s songs as well as favourites from the outfit’s live repertoire. With intricately arranged vocal harmonies and expert musicianship, The Chris Cleverley Trio offer a live experience for enthusiasts of contemporary and traditional folk music alike. Join them from an evening of songs exploring some of contemporary society’s most pressing concerns.
