Swedish born Nu-Jazz songstress and London resident Cecilia Stalin's breakthrough came with massive uber-cool hit, "Waltz For Koop". Established on the UK jazz scene she has performed in the Queen Elisabeth Hall, Barbican, Royal Festival Hall, & Love Supreme festival and has sold out the 606 & Ronnie Scott’s clubs.
Having released her critically acclaimed album “Step like a giant” celebrating John Coltrane's music, she started her own label, Step Like a Giant Music, and her first release was “The Story of Love”, a celebration of 60’s Brazilian pop & jazz songs with bassist Khari Cabral Simmons (India Aire).
For this special evening celebrating International Women’s Day, Cecilia will be singing songs from some of the greatest female songwriters from around the globe. NOT TO BE MISSED!
