Ruth Notman is a contemporary folk singer/songwriter based in South Yorkshire, who now aged 24, has been maturing and honing her style and skill for over a decade in front of festival and venue audiences all over the UK. Ruth’s debut album 'Threads' came out in November 2007 and really did cause quite a stir”. Rarely has a young artist’s first album had such a huge impact. Ruth played live on Radio 2 with Bob Harris, who loved the album.Ruth will be joined by Dan Britton, Chris Conway and Neil Rabjohn from Govannen, one of the best Celtic music bands in the UK who play with "passion, artistry and an easy going good humour, each in good measure for a night to remember"
