The opening concert of Glasgow Songwriting Festival 2019 featuring a songwriters in the round style concert from four of the UK's top songwriters. It's always a fantastic night that balances beautiful songwriting with hilarious chat. It's a great night out. Who knows it might inspire you to start writing songs...
Ivor Novello Award Nominated songwriter Boo Hewerdine writes for Eddi Reader and plays in her band. He is currently working with Chris (Squeeze) Difford. He is in great demand as a solo performer and songwriting workshop leader.
Emma Pollock is a founding member of Scottish Indie legends The Delgados and top indie label Chemikal Underground Records.
Carol Laula is a another Scottish songwriting legend working with Stuart Adamson (Big Country) Elyza Gilkison, Billy Bragg and releasing eight albums.
Findlay Napier is the director (ringleader) of Glasgow Songwriting Festival now celebrating its 4th year. A former graduate of the RCS he tours regularly as a solo singer songwriter.
This concert ALWAYS sells out so please get your tickets in advance. Tickets are limited as many of the seats in the venue are allocated to people attending the songwriting festivals weekend workshops.
