Josyara debuts in London after the outstanding reception of her second album Mansa Fúria ( Gentle Fury ) which won best album and new artist nomination with APCA ( São Paulo Art Critics Association ).

From the arid hinterlands of Bahia in the Northeast of Brazil Josyara’s new work is a portrait of a impactful, charismatic songwriter who is beginning to attract international attention. Her profound and joyous compositions and groovy, inventive guitar-playing has wowed delirious audiences at home. Now the rest of us are about to discover an astonishing new talent.
