The Jericho Tavern presents a triple bill of Americana, Folk and Country from Oxford based acts: My Crooked Teeth and Steady Habits, plus international touring duo: A Different Thread.
Praised as one of the ‘Top Ten Bands from Oxford’ by Bring The Noise, My Crooked Teeth is the moniker of Indie Folk singer songwriter: Jack Olchawski. Following the release of his recent single ‘The Hardest Task’, Jack is joined for this show by former Toliesel member Rob Taylor on keys and Darren Fellerdale (Family Machine) on double bass.
American/English duo, A Different Thread, brings together Robert Jackson of Lichfield, Staffordshire and Alicia Best of Durham, North Carolina. These two travelling songwriters first met busking in Ireland back in 2016 and have been touring the world ever since. Delivering a bluesy blend of Beatlesque folk rock meets Gillian Welch dark country they have a refreshing take on Americana: "a strong, independent new sound" Folk Radio UK.
Steady Habits is a new project from Sean Duggan (Loud Mountains). He will be sharing tracks from Loud Mountains upcoming release as well as some of his solo material.
