This October sees the launch of a new pop up film club for the Kemptown and East Brighton Community. Hosting the best in cult classics and recent independent releases from across the world, Kemptown Kinema will provide a space to bring the local community together through a shared love of cinema. Come and join us for our launch on Sunday 27th October at The Latest Music Bar with a screening to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic 1960’s road movie Easy Rider.
Starring the late Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper and featuring Jack Nicholson, this classic film has come to immortalise the free-spirit nature of 60’s counter culture.
All profits of this screening will go to local charity The Clock Tower Sanctuary supporting young homeless people in Brighton.
