On Friday, November 29 we will be celebrating the birth, life and creativity of Joe Wilson "The Bard of Tyneside" (born November 29, 1841) with songs, recitations and a specially designed, hearty, three-course Geordie meal at Little Green in Newcastle. It is a fantastic vegan restaurant in Goldspink Lane, only yards from Joe’s graveside that has just been awarded "Best Vegan Restaurant" in Newcastle by newcastlemagazine.com. It’s beautiful food in a lovely setting. If you've never eaten vegan, here's your chance to try at a fantastic event, among friends. The Great Joe Wilson’s Micky Cochrane will be performing on the night.
