Fragile Star create a unique blend of soul infused Folk and Roots Americana. A defining feature of their musical style, and the one most commented on by audiences, is the way in which their voices combine effortlessly in close, melodic harmony to produce one beautiful sound that enchants and transports the listener. Their diverse influences include Crosby/Stills/Nash & Young, Gillian Welch, Joni Mitchell and Van Morrison.

Harrowman weaves a style of contemporary folk that appeals to heritage troubadour fans as well as those following the absorbing and burgeoning alternative folk scene. Combining evocative ballads with sharp social commentaries and charming travelogues, Harrowman has developed a repertoire of captivating original songs that blend intricate guitar playing with brooding cello, sharp lyricism and soaring vocals.
