Cobalt Tales return to The Greystones to play their 4th annual concert here at the prestigious Backstage.
Cobalt Tales launched their debut album in 2019 having recorded 'Ever Changing Blue' at the Yellow Arch Studios in Nuala's home town of Sheffield. They toured the U.K. taking their show as far north as the west coast Highlands of Scotland and played several festivals including supporting Sheffield's own Martin Simpson at Todmorden Folk Festival, Hebden Bridge Folk and Roots Festival, P.A.C. Weekender Festival, C.M.V Downham, Coppull Folk Festival, The Boardwalk stage at The Eden Festival, DiversityFest Sheffield and Bickerstock.
This season they have been invited back to play at Fleetwood, C.M.V. and Diversity and are delighted to be playing at Folk on the Farm and The Acoustic Festival of Britain.
Pat and Nuala bring a range of original songs and stories to the stage in their own style with hints of Janis to Jagger via the Indigo Girls.
Powerful vocals complimented with engaging harmonies, acoustic and bass guitars, whistles, clarinet and harmonica, Cobalt Tales deliver music from the heart that stirs the soul.
"Harmonies are gorgeous, super soft and lovely singing. Well done!" - Edwina Hayes singer songwriter.
"Homespun humour and great tunes. Cobalt Tales are people-people, people! The breadth of styles is unexpected too. Loving the album, 'Ever Changing Blue' sets up a relaxed mood to be savoured" - Paul Quinn, founder and lead guitarist of Saxon.
