Thornton Hough Village Club is delighted to present Horse McDonald.

The woman described by Q magazine as having a “soul, deep purr….” “brilliant… McDonald owns one of the finest voices of modern times, soul and intelligence combined”

Horse has been writing and performing for over 30 years. From record deals with Capitol, MCA/Universal to her own label – Randan, with nine albums under her belt and many classic songs in her back catalogue, including the iconic song Careful, as covered by Will Young.

She has toured many times throughout the UK and Europe, USA and Australia but also opened for many iconic artists such as Tina Turner, Burt Bacharach and BB King.

This is a rare, ’audience with’ performance, and her first performance in Merseyside for many years. Her voice, both in story and song, takes the listener on a roller coaster ride with songs from the heart and soul. Undoubtedly one of Scotland’s greatest. Absolutely not to be missed.
