Event information

Tap Social and Project PT are thrilled to be screening A Second Chance, a feature-length documentary that follows the stories of people in prison and challenges societal stereotypes and preconceptions.
The UK is facing a prison crisis; over 90,000 people are currently incarcerated, and over 50% of those released will reoffend within one year. The system simply doesn't work - and this film explores the opportunities for change provided by employers Timpsons and Max Spielmanns.
A Second Chance introduces viewers to several people from the prison system, investigating the past circumstances that led them to their sentences, and the hopeful futures they look forward to. The film questions the way we are too often trained to think about ex-offenders, and presents real solutions to the cycle of reoffending. It is a film about hope. We hope you will join us to view it.

We are delighted to announce that director Rex Bloomstein, producer Justin Temple and Timpsons National Recruitment Ambassador Darren Burns will be joining us for the film.
