Brown Boots is all about finding out how much colour and expression we can get out of our favourite traditional dance tunes. We bring energy and life to these tunes by pushing each-other's creativity and imagination.

Each performance is fresh and unique: just raw, unrefined, immersive music. Above all, we want you to love these tunes as much as we do.

This event celebrates the launch of our new album. This is more than just a list of our favourite tunes, it's a collection of sets that have been growing and changing with every gig, crafted together to take you on a journey across beautiful musical landscapes.

It’s a mixture of familiar and lesser-known tunes, with a couple of our own compositions thrown in. Our music is steeped in playing for dancing, so we didn’t want to lose those grooves, but instead we've combined them with a range of styles, timbres and shades to capture our listeners.

Come and join us for an evening of full of raw traditional music. It’s us sitting down and enjoying playing tunes together, a comprehensive introduction to Brown Boots.
