Whitehouse Sessions brings an exciting new duo to Ashburton Arts. Violinist Adam Summerhayes and master accordionist Murray Grainger present their debut album UNTOLD.
"Gorgeous stuff" says BBC Radio 3 of this unique three track 50 minute improvisation recorded live in a single take.
Live performances on the album tour will be a mix of pure, magical, improvisation alongside the duo's take on traditional folk tunes (particularly from the North-East) and their own original material.
“Grainger’s accordion with Summerhayes’s fiddle is especially beautiful” (Songlines).
Adam Summerhayes has been described as a "Paganini of the traditional violin" (fRoots)
