Event information
A countryside walk past the site of the main Strutt residence Bridge Hill House followed by a view of Dalley Farm before entering the yard of Crossroads Farm to see how the Strutt family applied their knowledge of manufacturing to farm management and architecture. If time permits we will walk back through the Meadows past the old corn mill and water pumping station.
Walk leaders: Adrian Farmer & Alex Gilbert. This is a joint event with the Derbyshire Historic Buildings Trust. Duration approx. 3 hours. Stout footwear / walking boots recommended. Some steep sections. Sorry no dogs.
