CANCELLED/POSTPONED UNTIL 2021 due to the ongoing Covid-19 virus crisis.

We have now made the decision to re-schedule the event to a new date of Saturday 5th June 2021. We have asked Wegottickets to arrange automatic refunds for all ticket buyers. Please bear in mind they are very busy at the moment! We will put tickets for the new date on sale in early 2021.

The crisis has been devastating for the live music scene and independent musicians. Join us for our first one-day Americana & Bluegrass mini-fest featuring a line-up of simply outstanding bands:

AJ Lee & Blue Summit (USA) - sensational contemporary bluegrass & Americana quintet from California
Jaywalkers (UK) - classy Americana/folk trio from Cheshire, with glorious bluesy vocals and outstanding musicianship
Zoe & Cloyd (USA) - North Carolina bluegrass and folk duo with gorgeous songs and soaring vocal harmonies
Tilter Wheel trio (UK) - barnstorming, fun and entertaining British bluegrass heroes

Plus workshops in Appalachian step dance (with Jake & Dan) and harmony singing (with Zoe & Cloyd). We hope there will be some informal jam sessions too! Marsden is a scenic village set in picturesque Yorkshire countryside eight miles west of Huddersfield, with good rail links and a wide range of pubs, restaurants and accommodation options close by. Our venue Marsden Mechanics is set in the heart of the village.
