An online discussion event
Research shows us that gender inequalities persist around the world, leading to women being disproportionately affected by climate change.
There is also a direct link between environmental and racial injustice: residential segregation, unequal education and health opportunities and precarious work, leave many Black, indigenous and migrant people more vulnerable to climate change impacts.
Please join OIWF and our panel of speakers to review and discuss these crucial issues, from a local, national and international perspective.
Speakers include:
Ithar M Ghalifa: Interior Architect specialising in Architectural Development in the humanitarian sector and Analyst of Climate Change in Cities
Dr Ines Smyth, Former Lecturer, Researcher & Oxfam Gender Advisor. Currently a consultant on Gender Equality in Development and Oxford Extinction Rebellion representative.
