Edinburgh based seven piece Jesus H. Foxx return to The Bowery from their first national tour and release of their new EP “matter”, to back up recent comparisons to the likes of Architecture in Helsinki and Broken Social Scene.
Support comes from Dundee’s One Inch Volcano – “sludgepop breeds Thurston Moore shaking skeletons is a dirty Scottish cupboard” – or so says Drowned in Sound, Katy Bar the Door (a well known warning phrase in the south of the USA, and a thundering Dundee post-rock outfit) and Edinburgh newcomers 19 Folds, a kind of Joy Division/R.E.M./ Mogwai/ Dinosaur Jr Stew
