Enjoy the Show and Market Street Social are delighted to welcome Laura Taylor to Preston for a unique summer outdoor gig.
The punk poet is about to release her third book – Speaking in Tongues published by Flapjack Press – with this gig at Market Street Social being her first live performance in over 18 months.
Taylor’s insightful - and often angry, often political poems – have won her plaudits across the UK, with Attila the Stockbroker labelling her ‘one of the country's finest poets’.
The poet, a regular performer at UK festivals, believes in the power of poetry as a means by which silent voices speak and hidden ears listen.

This outdoor gig will be performed in the beautiful Market Street Social courtyard. Some seating areas are undercover, with extra cover able to be put in place should it rain.
