‘In the Footsteps of Artists’ Tour

Many artists, amateur and professional, unknown and famous, have shown interest in Arkwright's Cromford Mills. Their surviving sketches and paintings have contributed much to what we know of its history, but should we rely on them as historical fact? Lead by our enthusiastic guide, loop round the site in a gentle walk from Cromford Mills to the village market place and back - to compare some of the historic views with what we can see today.

This tour runs twice a day at 11.30am and 2.30pm. Please book your ticket for your preferred tour time. Meet your guide outside the mill shop in the Cromford Mills yard. We advise you arrive 10 minutes before your tour.
