Event information

Kenilworth Arts Festival and Kenilworth Books have teamed up with English Heritage at Kenilworth Castle for an afternoon event.

Join us for a panel discussion about history and fiction – in the stunning surroundings of Kenilworth Castle.

Novelists Nicola Cornick and Annie Garthwaite will be in conversation with bookseller and historian, Tamsin Rosewell. They will consider everything from Sir Walter Scott’s influence on the historical novel, to the novelist’s quest to portray an accurate sense of time, place and person.

The event will take place in the Earl of Leicester’s Great Stables at Kenilworth Castle, at 4pm on Sunday 12th September. The English Heritage team there will keep the café open for us, so you’ll be able to get yourself a cup of tea and a slice of cake, and then we can all be transported back to 15th century England!
