One of the UK and Nu Folk music’s most arresting bands, The Jigantics are part of a growing group of contemporary artists appealing to a wide range of music followers who are increasingly looking beyond conventional musical stereotypes, and just enjoying a fusion of great songs, stunning harmonies and fine musicianship. In this case its a genre defying mix of Roots, Blues, Traditional, Country and then some.
A band who frequently swop instruments and share lead vocals with stunning four part harmonies. Never afraid to mix musical styles but always with a touch of class, combining original material with their own interpretation of material from Steve Earle to Tom Waits.
Seeing them live it’s clear that this band believe having a good time is an essential ingredient to any gig.
