VERY SPECIAL GUESTS - DOCKSIDE REVOLUTIONS - a powerful 7 piece salsa combo playing classic salsa, mambo and cha cha. Based in Bristol they play music selected from 1970's to present, such as Celia Cruz, Tito Rodrigues and the Spanish Harlem Orchestra. The band is fronted by powerhouse Cuban singer Indira Roman, her bold vocals and authentic feel drive the band with authentic precision, her move to the UK just over 10 years ago has been a true gift to the UK latin scene. Other players include band leader and trumpet player Joe Longridge, Jon Hopes on Trombone, Jim Blomfield on Piano, Sol Ahmed on Bass, Myke Vince on Timbales and lastly Lisa Cherian on Congas. These players are the best of the best of the thriving Bristol latin scene. Dockside Revolutions is the “smaller” brother of the 17 piece giant; The Dockside Latin Orchestra, which usually plays on larger festival stages such as Glastonbury and the Bristol Blues and Jazz Festival. Expect heavy brass, punchy percussion and authentic cuban flavours!

Rambunctious has firmly established itself as a leading club/arts night for over 11 years, Those familiar with Rambunctious have delighted in the distinct sound that Griff and Lee pump out, a foot loose fusion of Cumbia, Latin, world beats, Tropical bass or whatever else that gets thrown into the mix, this adventurous explosion of styles has given Rambunctious a unique sound. Lee’s signature visual style and playful approach has made Rambunctious instantly recognisable with an interactive synthesis of sound and vision.
