LAST MINUTE LINE UP CHANGE
The Ciderhouse Rebellion are unable to perform for us tonight. A concert with Becoming Branches, David Mitchell and hopefully more will take place for a donation of £5 on the door.
Making their first and long overdue visit to Wessex Acoustic, we welcome The Ciderhouse Rebellion.

“Two virtuoso musicians playing some of the most startling and original music you will ever encounter. Compelling, exciting and utterly original” Phil Beer
The duo brings together master accordionist Murray Grainger and fiddle player Adam Summerhayes. The pair play some traditional tunes, particularly from the NE of England, and compose their own music, specialising in creating within the moment so each performance is uniquely magical in its improvisatory focus.

“I became utterly bewitched by the beauty of what Summerhayes and Grainger had created. It could justifiably be described as a folk symphony, possessing cyclical completeness yet creating a form that is, at once, both elemental and pastoral.” Fatea Magazine

Supporting this outstanding duo are Becoming Branches,
Based in the New Forest in the south of England, Becoming Branches are a Country-Folk-Pop trio blending acoustic sounds and soaring harmonies in an enchanting mix of creative and heartfelt originals. Winners of the 2019 Wimborne Folk Festival Live Award; their debut EP is out now!

Having played together in various acts over the years; Jaz, Rob and Hannah formed Becoming Branches in the summer of 2018. Initially starting out as a covers band performing at private parties and weddings, the trio soon starting writing their own songs and creating their own sound.

Seating capacity is reduced to lessen Covid risks. Although optional, we recommend the wearing of face masks when using the legion bar area.
