An evening of beautiful songwriting and folk harmonies.
Arcelia (pronounced Ah-Kell-ia) is songwriter Gavin Armstrong, voice artist Teresa Gallagher and Flying Picket Simon Foster. Together they create an exquisite sound which has been likened to Crosby Stills & Nash, America, Paul Simon. Arcelia regularly perform and tour with Chris Difford of Squeeze, have supported Oysterband, Michele Stodart and Maddy Prior.
With her beautiful voice and significant songwriting ability, Yvonne Lyon has supported Eddi Reader and Beth Nielsen Chapman on tour and received airtime on the BBC from Bob Harris, Claire Balding, Michael Ball and Janice Long. Recognised for her poignant lyrical sensibility and soaring melodies, Yvonne’s voice can be both fragile and intense.
