Oh Ruin
Eoin O’Ruainigh’s story began in Dublin playing guitar for a string of bands, including support tours with Morrissey, before travelling to London, where he began writing solo songs. Crooning tales of childhood mischief and the first sweet stings of love, Eoin combines traditional Irish, stomping blues with campfire quiet troubadour tunes. A little loose, a little rough around the edges, with melodies borrowed from old Irish folk songs, and stories set to intricate finger picked paeans.
Eoin’s had guest appearances with Alberta Cross and Alela Diane, who he played bass and guitar for touring the states and the UK in 2008.
Vadoinmessico
Vadoinmessico formed in Autumn of 2006 when Giorgio Poti (Italy) and Salvador Garza (Mexico) met at music college in London. Combining their various musical and non-musical influences, they set out to create some lovely tunes. With Giorgio's unexpectedly sweet vocals and rousing guitar style, Salvador's upbeat, multi-instrumental hooks, and their good friends Stephan Buergermeister (Austria) on banjo and Ollie Hipkin (England) on cajon, the group has created a fresh and exciting sound which transcends its acoustic roots.
Alma Nofear
Alma NoFear, the Swedish but London based singer who enchanted all with a softly spoken voice that explained she was performing in her pyjamas; although the cold didn’t seem to effect the folky-plucker (careful) as her heavy Swedish accent meandered the falling snow. Dazed and Confused
